SCREENWRITER
Eddie Nenedzhyan is an Armenian-American from Los Angeles currently studying Screenwriting at the AFI Conservatory. Prior to that, he was a Dean’s List Scholar at California State University, Northridge with a B.A. in both Journalism & Political Science. While in college, Eddie found work as a Script Supervisor on projects like the Student Academy Award winner SKIN, UNDEAD MYSTERIES, and THE LIGHTS ABOVE. He recently interned at Nickel City Pictures (John Wick, Hereditary) Prior to AFI, he interned for Electric Entertainment, where he worked on the shows ALMOST PARADISE and THE ARK.
DIRECTOR
Joseph El-Khoury is a 2nd year directing fellow at the AFI Conservatory. Prior to AFI, he studied at CalArts, finishing with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film in 2022. Joseph has worked in both narrative and documentary. Since 2021, he has worked on a documentary titled TURN OFF THE MACHINES, as well as his narrative short films, JULIAN COMES HOME and ONE BEER, which have enjoyed successful festival runs, playing Florida Film Festival, Catalina Film Festival & Worldfest Houston.
PRODUCER
Divyashree Muruganandam is a 2nd year Producing Fellow at the AFI Conservatory. She is the recipient of the Thomas P. Pollock Endowed Scholarship for promising producers from underrepresented communities. With a background in film theory and analysis at the University of Amsterdam, Divya believes in the power of impactful storytelling and focuses on stories with cultural specificities and ones that are socially driven.
CINEMATOGRAPHER
Ryan Alva is a 2nd Year Cinematography Fellow at the AFI Conservatory. Prior to his time at AFI, and after spending most of his upbringing in the San Francisco Bay Area, he graduated from Northwestern University’s Radio/Television/Film program. While he misses his previous homes dearly, he's been privileged to call LA his latest home for the last 8 years, working as a cinematographer and colorist on everything from documentaries to short films to music videos to fashion films. He’s incredibly excited to spend this year collaborating with this team as they work to bring the story of Kavor from pitch to screen.
EDITOR & SOUND DESIGNER
Sean Fay-Wolfe is a 2nd year Editing Fellow at the AFI Conservatory. He is a Harper Collins published author who graduated with honors from the University of Rhode Island’s Filmmaking program, during which he created the acclaimed animated short film GLASSWORLD. Having worked on several documentaries and independent films while professionally creating independent edutainment productions on YouTube, Sean is a driven worker whose goal is to help every project he’s involved with reach its fullest potential.
